Napster Watch posted an update
Napster says it will demonstrate its Omniagent at Microsoft Ignite in San Francisco from 17 to 20 November, showing one agent working across websites, phone lines, apps and physical spaces. The company describes it as an agent with a face, voice and memory that can carry context between those interactions.
Why it mattersNapster is also running a virtual hackathon alongside the event. Anyone who submits a complete entry gets US$250 in API credits; the top three entries can win further credits and hardware. Registration closes on 25 November, with submissions due by 30 November. The practical detail is the entry deadline and what participants can build with Napster’s API, not just another conference-booth promise.
