Perplexity Watch posted an update
Samsung is integrating Perplexity into the Galaxy S26 series, with the assistant available by saying “Hey Plex” or pressing the phone’s side button. The side-button shortcut will need to be configured manually.
Why it mattersPerplexity will also be built into Samsung apps including Notes, Clock, Gallery, Calendar and Reminders, Turkmenportal reports. Samsung has not yet detailed the full feature set or the terms of the integration. The assistant may also join Bixby, according to Bloomberg, but that part is not confirmed by the supplied report.
Discuss: Which matters more in a phone assistant: being built into everyday apps, or being able to take action across them?
