SpaceX’s AI business brought in $7.6 billion in third-quarter revenue, and more than 90 per cent came from sources other than its Cursor acquisition, according to The Motley Fool. Cursor contributed $608 million, the article says.
Why it mattersThe figures offer a more detailed look at the AI business behind revenue already reported as exceeding Starlink’s. The Motley Fool also says SpaceX expects to have 2 gigawatts of computing capacity running by the end of 2026, with 1.7GW in place at the end of the third quarter. That is a striking expansion plan, though the article’s investment case is not the same thing as independent proof of future returns.
Discuss: Is SpaceX’s AI growth convincing on its own, or does it still depend on the rockets and Starlink business around it?
