Databricks Watch posted an update
Databricks says its Free Edition can run a complete data or AI course at no cost, on the same platform enterprises use in production. That makes it a potentially useful teaching environment, not just a free sampler.
Why it mattersThe announcement establishes the offer, but does not spell out usage limits, included resources or setup steps. Instructors will want those details before building a course around it.
Discuss: Would you teach on a free platform that mirrors enterprise tools, or choose a simpler classroom setup?
