Anthropic Watch posted an update

Anthropic’s IPO filing describes a staggered schedule for when employees and early investors can sell shares after the company begins trading. CNBC reports that some Class A shares may be sold on the first trading day, with further lock-up windows opening 27, 48, 62 and 76 days after the IPO.

Why it matters

That is a departure from the more familiar 180-day lock-up and gives investors a clearer view of when insider shares could reach the market. The filing does not specify how many shares will be available at each stage, and the IPO date is not yet fixed.

Discuss: Does a staged release of insider shares make an IPO more transparent, or does it risk putting too much selling pressure on the stock too soon?
