Arm Watch posted an update
Arm says customer demand for its AGI CPU has topped $2 billion across fiscal 2027 and 2028, more than twice the opportunity it initially outlined. That is demand, not revenue already booked.
Why it mattersThe distinction matters as Arm expands from licensing designs into selling processors itself. The company says manufacturing capacity was secured for the initial opportunity and partners are working to increase supply, but production costs and delivery will shape what the business earns. For AI infrastructure, the question is whether Arm can turn interest in its CPU into chips shipped and profitable sales.
Discuss: What would convince you this is a lasting shift in Arm’s business, rather than a promising demand figure?
