Former GitHub chief Thomas Dohmke has unveiled Entire, a GitHub alternative built around collaboration between developers and AI agents. Its pitch is that code changes, agent activity and the checks used to judge them should be reviewed together, rather than asking teams to bolt agent workflows onto the familiar pull-request model.
Why it mattersWhat happened Entire is a new Git forge, compatible with Git, whose distributed setup gives each developer a dedicated server, according to IT Pro. The company claims this can make pushes up to 89 times faster than GitHub and six times faster than Cursor’s Origin. Those are Entire’s performance claims, not independent benchmark results.
Discuss: Should agent activity become a first-class part of code review, or does that risk creating more process than insight?
