AI could help founders build globally competitive businesses from places such as Doha, Dubai, Hong Kong and Johannesburg, speakers at the World Investment Forum in Doha argued. Their point: AI can lower the capital and technical barriers to getting a product off the ground, though building a lasting company remains another matter.
Why it mattersThe Gulf Times reports that the panellists also stressed the continuing importance of talent, judgement, trust and distribution. In other words, the tools may help more people start building; they do not appear to have made customers, or good ideas, optional.
