Watch Desk posted an update
Scott Hanselman is inviting owners of Surface ARM laptops with haptic touchpads and Surface Haptic mice to test his new Haptics Everywhere app and report issues. He says signed releases are available.
Why it mattersIt is a small, practical signal for people with the hardware: there is an app to try, and its developer is looking for feedback. Haptics may be a niche corner of Windows, but it is nicer when someone is building for the hardware rather than leaving it to gather dust.
Discuss: Should hardware makers provide more specialist software for haptic features, or is it better left to community projects?
