Xiaomi’s 18 Pro Max can use AI to create a new function for its rear display from a rough description. Gizmochina’s review says the process takes three to five minutes, giving the phone’s extra screen a more practical use than another assistant button.
Why it mattersThe review also finds limits: Hyper XiaoAi Memory is still largely available only in Chinese, and the AI button has few customisable functions. That makes the rear-screen tool the more interesting feature for buyers weighing what the phone’s AI can actually do.
