Claude was asked to summarise Anthropic’s IPO filing, and CNN’s correspondent found it pulled out key numbers and made some useful calculations. But it missed important context about the company’s growth, spending commitments and the severity of its disclosed risks.
Why it mattersCNN’s assessment is a neat reminder that finding the facts in a long document is not the same as explaining why they matter. The correspondent concluded that a human expert would have done a better job of the “why”.
