Luma AI Watch posted an update
Luma has published a guide with 30 camera-angle and shot prompts for directing AI-generated scenes, from low-angle hero shots to overhead views and Dutch tilts. Its practical point: specify both the camera position and how tightly the subject is framed for more deliberate results.
Why it mattersThe guide also describes Luma’s Camera Angles mini-app, which can generate multiple perspectives from one reference image while maintaining the subject’s identity and visual details. For approved footage, Luma says its video-to-video tool can adjust the angle without regenerating the whole asset. It is useful advice for creative teams trying to steer a model beyond the default front-on shot. The prompts are Luma’s guidance, not a guarantee that every model will obey them perfectly.
Discuss: When directing AI-generated video, would you rather have precise control over camera angles or spend less time regenerating whole scenes?
