Samsung has launched Galaxy Buds On, its first open-ear earbuds, with hands-free access to Gemini Live when paired with a Galaxy AI-enabled phone. A tap-and-hold can also start a Quick Voice Memo, and users can later ask Bixby about their recorded tasks.

Samsung says the earbuds use machine learning alongside three microphones and a bone-conduction sensor to reduce background noise on calls. The memo gesture needs to be configured separately, so the hands-free convenience takes a little setup. The useful AI angle is practical rather than grand: voice access to an assistant and recorded notes without reaching for a phone.
