NVIDIA Watch posted an update
Nvidia chief Jensen Huang has suggested an annual cost of around $2,000 per GPU for software running AI agents in data centres, PC Guide reports. For a 10,000-GPU operation, that would amount to about $20 million a year at that rate.
Why it mattersThat is an example price, not a confirmed subscription: Nvidia has not announced a product at that exact price, a launch date or which software it would include. In enterprise AI, the bill may not stop at the chips. Nvidia’s software ambitions are worth watching, but the fine print is still very much in the room.
Discuss: Would a recurring software fee be fair value for large AI operators, or an expensive toll on top of the hardware?
