iFlytek is pitching its deployed AI systems, not just its models, as the reason developers abroad might choose a Chinese technology stack. CEO Liu Qingfeng says the company has 600,000 overseas developers across more than 220 countries and regions, while acknowledging that the US still leads in computing infrastructure.
Why it mattersWhat happened In an interview with China Daily, Liu described iFlytek’s plan to combine homegrown foundation models with domestic computing power.
