Watch Desk posted an update
Apple is adding a beta AI assistant, built on Apple and OpenAI models, to Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Logic Pro, The Verge reports. Keynote, Pages and Numbers are also getting support for MCP.
Why it mattersThe assistant can draft and restructure content in Pages and organise data in Numbers. That puts AI features inside familiar work apps, rather than leaving them in a separate chatbot window. It is a useful first glimpse, though the available report gives little detail on how the features work.
Discuss: Should AI assistants be built into everyday apps by default, or stay separate until users can see exactly what they do?
