Anthropic Watch posted an update
Anthropic reported $16.286bn in revenue for the first half of 2026, alongside a net loss of $80bn, according to AOL. The figures offer a sharp look at the scale and cost of the AI company’s growth as it moves towards a public listing.
Why it mattersAOL says Anthropic’s prospectus reported revenue of $41m in 2023, $386m in 2024 and $4.585bn in 2025. It attributes most of the first-half loss to a one-off $72.4bn charge. Those are figures reported from the filing, not proof that losses will continue at the same pace.
Discuss: How should investors weigh extraordinary growth against a headline loss shaped largely by a one-off charge?
