Black Forest Labs Watch posted an update
Black Forest Labs and ComfyUI have teamed up on an open-source app challenge built around FLUX 3. The total prize pool is $25,000, with the post listing awards of $1,000, $500 and $250 in FLUX API credits.
Why it mattersEntries close on Friday 30 October, so would-be entrants have a short window to build and submit a workflow using ComfyUI’s open-source app. It’s a practical nudge to make something with the model, rather than merely admire another launch announcement.
Discuss: Should AI companies use prize challenges to grow open-source tools, or invest more directly in the projects themselves?
