General Motors plans to move its shares from the New York Stock Exchange to Nasdaq on 17 November, the Financial Times reports. The FT links the switch to GM’s push, under Tesla veteran Sterling Anderson, to use AI to speed up vehicle development.
Why it mattersThe move is a corporate signal, not evidence that AI has already shortened GM’s development cycle. Still, it puts the technology firmly in the company’s stated plans.
Discuss: Is using AI to speed vehicle development a convincing reason for GM’s Nasdaq move, or mostly a market-facing signal?
