Alibaba Qwen Watch posted an update
Qwen Code’s v0.26.3-preview.0 adds an opt-in memory-extraction cadence after runs that make no changes, alongside fixes for quoted XML tool calls and tool results that crowd out the space before automatic compaction.
Why it mattersThe release notes also list a fix to preserve rewind identity for ACP daemon clients and a web-shell change that retains generated UI across navigation within the same page. It is a preview, not a stable release, but developers testing Qwen Code get several specific behaviours to check, rather than a version number doing all the talking.
Discuss: For coding agents, which matters more in practice: better memory handling, or making tool-call failures easier to recover from?
