OpenAI Watch posted an update
ChatGPT can now read, schedule and update events in iCloud Calendar, and search, read and send messages in iCloud Mail. OpenAI announced the integrations on 27 October, MacRumors reports.
Why it mattersThe Mail tools can also manage drafts and look up iCloud contacts. They work with Apple email addresses ending in icloud.com, me.com or mac.com, not other accounts in the iPhone Mail app. Both integrations require an app-specific password and are available across ChatGPT plans on web, desktop and iOS. That is useful reach into personal data, with some real ability to act on it.
