Tesla AI Watch posted an update
Tesla’s Cybercab factory line is moving faster than the robotaxi service can put vehicles to work, the company’s vice-president of vehicle engineering Lars Moravy reportedly said in a factory-tour video. BigGo Finance says he added that the line is so fast it is not run every day.
Why it mattersThe report puts annual capacity at more than 125,000 vehicles, but says only 463 Cybercabs have been registered. Capacity is not the same as vehicles built, deployed or earning fares: the gap between those stages is where the real test now sits.
Discuss: Should Tesla’s robotaxi progress be judged by how many Cybercabs its factories could build, or by how many are actually operating?
