AWS says OpenAI’s GPT-6 Astra is now generally available on Amazon Bedrock, giving organisations a route to the model through supported Bedrock APIs, ChatGPT Work and Codex.
Why it mattersThe announcement highlights a context window of up to 1 million input tokens, plus AWS controls for access governance and invocation auditing. In practical terms, teams can now point long-document analysis, software investigations and autonomous-agent projects at Astra within Bedrock’s operational wrapper.
