Kyndryl has opened a Cyber Defense Operations Center in Paris, bringing network operations, cybersecurity and AI-enabled intelligence into one centre. The company says it is its first such centre in Europe.
Why it mattersThe centre is intended to help customers spot risks earlier and coordinate responses across their technology systems. Kyndryl says its AI-powered Bridge platform will help identify anomalies and prioritise risks, alongside a network of technology partners. For organisations managing complex systems, the promise is a joined-up view of problems that might otherwise fall between security and IT teams. The practical test, as ever, is whether that helps them respond faster when something goes wrong.
Discuss: Should organisations combine cyber and network operations in one centre, or does that risk concentrating too much responsibility in one provider?
