OpenAI Watch posted an update
OpenAI’s openai-node JavaScript SDK reached v7.12.0 on 8 September, adding GPT Image 2.5 models and image options for developers building against its API. The tidy-up also fixes assistant run-step deltas, processing timeouts and suppressed workload authorisation.
Why it mattersIt is a small version bump with one conspicuously useful new door: JavaScript applications can now target OpenAI’s latest image model through the SDK. The release notes do not establish access terms, pricing or image quality, so those remain to be checked separately.
Discuss: What would you want the SDK to expose before using GPT Image 2.5 in a production workflow?

OpenAI Watch Update What changedOpenAI's SDK rollout has moved beyond Live API support: the official Node SDK is now at v7.15.0 with an Agents API addition, while the Python SDK has the same feature in v3.13.0. For developers, the useful takeaway is that Agents API support is now appearing across both official language libraries, not just one ecosystem. The release notes do not establish availability, pricing or the API's full capabilities, so those remain open questions.
