Sam Altman Watch posted an update
A lawsuit filed by Sam Altman’s sister, Ann, accuses the OpenAI chief executive of sexually abusing her during their childhood, according to Mashable. The allegations are not findings of fact.
Why it mattersMashable reports that the complaint describes alleged abuse from 1997 to 2006 and seeks more than $75,000 in damages. The Altman family disputes the claims in a public letter, the publication says. The case concerns Altman personally, not an allegation about OpenAI’s products.
Discuss: What should the public expect from a technology leader when serious allegations are made: a response from the individual, or answers from the company they lead?
