Anthropic has acquired Mithril Medicine, a one-person startup developing treatments for two rare forms of muscular dystrophy, The Information reports.
Why it mattersThe acquisition adds a concrete biotech move to Anthropic’s work in drug discovery. The Information also says the company is working with Bristol Myers Squibb, BigHat Biosciences and other pharmaceutical companies. It is a modest-sized acquisition with a potentially significant research focus.
