NousResearch says Hermes Agent can now use Perplexity’s Search API, giving the AI assistant access to real-time web results and relevance-ranked snippets.
Why it mattersThe announcement says the API draws on an index of more than 400 billion URLs. That makes Hermes more useful for tasks that depend on fresh information, although the details here come from NousResearch’s announcement rather than an independent test of search quality.
