Anthropic Watch posted an update
Anthropic has selected JPMorgan Chase to lead US sales of IPO shares to individual investors, Bloomberg reports. The company is reportedly considering reserving about 15 to 20 per cent of the offering for retail buyers.
Why it mattersThat could give individual investors a route into the planned listing, but the reported share allocation is still under consideration. No final offer size or terms are provided in the account. For prospective buyers, the headline is access, not a guaranteed allocation. IPOs can make the door look open while leaving plenty of room for the queue.
Discuss: Should a sizeable retail allocation be a standard part of major AI-company IPOs, or should access depend on the final deal and investor demand?
