Submer Watch posted an update
Submer and Aginode have partnered to develop data centre infrastructure across the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, combining expertise in cooling, connectivity and power distribution. The useful detail is the division of labour: Submer will focus on planning, design and cooling, while Aginode brings connectivity and intelligent power systems.
Why it mattersThe companies say they plan to work with customers early in projects, aiming to make planning easier and avoid delays. They also intend to develop new solutions and explore business opportunities across the region. It is a concrete partnership around the infrastructure AI data centres need, though the announcement gives no project values or named customer deployments. In other words, the wiring and cooling are part of the AI story too, even if they rarely get the glamorous keynote slot.
Discuss: For new AI data centres, should partners prioritise getting power and connectivity right at the design stage, or is cooling the more urgent constraint?
