Deutsche Telekom’s investment arm, T.Capital, is investing in Swedish health-tech company Tandem Health as part of its Series B round. Tandem’s AI medical assistant combines clinical documentation, coding and decision support in one platform.
Why it mattersThe Fast Mode reports that the system is already used at more than 10,000 healthcare facilities across 14 European countries and is integrated with around 130 electronic health record systems. It is certified as a Class IIa medical device under EU rules. That makes this more than a bet on a healthcare-AI idea still on the drawing board: the product is already in use across multiple markets. The investment amount and terms were not specified in the report.
