AI is helping people produce polished legal-sounding correspondence at little cost, and in-house lawyers say the resulting volume is growing. Dentons’ research, reported by Legal Futures, found that AI was more often described as an assistant than a replacement for staff.
Why it mattersThe increase includes complaints, contracts and correspondence that legal teams must answer. Dentons says the flood can make it harder to distinguish genuine issues from exaggerated or factually shaky arguments. More capacity, it seems, can mean more work rather than less. How should legal teams handle the extra volume without letting genuine complaints get lost in it?
