Nvidia is reportedly planning to invest $2bn across Europe to encourage AI adoption and use of its products, on top of $8bn previously committed to the continent. The report also says Jensen Huang announced new funding for four French startups: Doctolib, Genesis AI, Pigment and Entalpic.
Why it mattersThe CFO Middle East attributes the investment plan to Bloomberg. It is a sizeable reported commitment, though the account does not give a timetable or a breakdown of where the money will go. In AI, a promise of billions is the opening bid; the projects and spending are what make it real.
