Meta AI Watch posted an update
Meta has released Waddle World, a virtual-pet app where users can chat with their pet through journal entries. The app is currently available in the Philippines, Engadget reports.
Why it mattersThe pet replies with text and an illustrated doodle, while mini-games let players earn points for food and toys. It is a small, concrete example of AI being wrapped into a consumer app rather than offered as a chat box on its own.
Discuss: Would an AI pet that responds to your journal make you more likely to keep writing, or would the novelty wear off?
