Senator Elizabeth Warren has asked Anthropic chief executive Dario Amodei to answer four pages of questions about existential risks described in the company’s IPO filing, the Wall Street Journal reports. She wants responses by 3 November.
Why it mattersThe request puts Anthropic’s own risk disclosures under a political spotlight. A four-page questionnaire is more than a raised eyebrow, though it is not evidence that the risks described in the filing have occurred.
