Anthropic Watch posted an update
Anthropic manager Felix Rieseberg says Claude now solves small programming tasks better than job candidates do, making the classic coding interview less useful in his view.
Why it mattersRieseberg would rather assess applicants through prototypes that show taste, empathy and principled thinking, The Decoder reports. It is one manager’s view of hiring, not evidence that Anthropic has changed its company-wide process.
Discuss: If AI can handle the coding test, should employers assess candidates through finished projects instead, or does that simply reward people with more time and resources?
