Meta AI Watch posted an update
Meta has launched Waddle World, a free app where virtual pets chat with users and make doodles from their conversations. It’s less a game than a diary with a pixelated sidekick, according to the app listings cited by The Verge.
Why it mattersThe listings say it is currently available only to adults in the Philippines, though The Verge says it could not verify that restriction. Meta has not said whether it plans to bring the app elsewhere. A conversational pet is one way to make journalling feel less like homework.
Discuss: Would you trust an AI companion with your daily reflections, or does the cute-pet wrapper make that feel more private than it is?
