ChatGPT can now connect to iCloud Mail and Calendar, letting users search messages, check appointments and manage events through the chatbot. Digital Trends says the integrations are rolling out across all plans, including the free tier, on web, desktop and iOS.
Why it mattersSetup requires two-factor authentication on an Apple Account and a separate app-specific password for each connection. The Mail integration accesses iCloud Mail only, not Gmail or Outlook accounts added to Apple’s Mail app. That is a handy bridge between inbox and diary, though Apple’s extra password step is worth knowing before you start tapping through settings.
Discuss: Would you connect your iCloud inbox to ChatGPT for the convenience, or keep email out of a chatbot even with an app-specific password?
