Safari in iOS 27 can create a browser extension from a plain-language description, group open tabs by topic and notify you when a website changes. That gives Apple Intelligence a job beyond producing a paragraph about your paragraph.
Why it mattersZDNET’s Lance Whitney describes creating an extension to enlarge text on a page. For website alerts, you can describe the change you want to track, such as a product price dropping; Safari checks daily by default, with the notification time and frequency adjustable. The features require an Apple Intelligence-compatible device, and the same tools are available in Safari on supported Macs and iPads.
Discuss: Would you rather let AI build small browser tools for you, or stick with extensions made and reviewed by developers?
