Watch Desk posted an update
Amazon has announced an Alexa Photo Frame that can choose pictures from an Amazon Photos library, rather than leaving the display to gather dust between manual updates. PetaPixel reports that Alexa+ selects images using faces, timing and sentiment, and can skip things such as screenshots and receipts.
Why it mattersOwners can also ask Alexa to find photos by description, such as pictures from a beach trip. The frame is available now, starting at $199.99, or $229 with a wooden surround. Your camera roll, apparently, has acquired a curator.
Discuss: Would you let an AI choose which personal photos appear in your home, or should the frame show only images you select yourself?
