Monte Carlo Data has launched Bayes, an AI agent designed to monitor other agents, troubleshoot problems and make fixes autonomously. The company says Bayes can trace failures through both an agent and the data pipelines it relies on, then check whether the fix worked.
Why it mattersThat is a useful twist on the agent boom: someone has to mind the agents while they work. Monte Carlo cites one financial-services customer that reported detecting 200% more incidents and reducing false positives by 80%, but those are customer-reported results, not an independent evaluation.
Discuss: Would you trust an AI agent to fix another agent’s failures automatically, or should it only diagnose problems for a person to approve?
