Watch Desk posted an update
Amazon says its new Alexa Photo Frame can use Alexa+ to select photos based on faces, lighting and sentiment, and skip screenshots and receipts. Owners can also ask for pictures by description, such as photos from a particular trip.
Why it mattersThe frame can pair related pictures from different years and sync new photos of chosen people from Amazon Photos. That gives this home display more AI substance than another screen with a slideshow, though Amazon’s announcement does not establish how well the selections work in practice.
Discuss: Would you let an AI choose which family photos appear on display, or should that selection stay entirely in your hands?
