Donald Trump’s push to replace “AI” with “SI” has not won over many of the right-wing outlets that usually support him, Media Matters says. The group points to continued use of “AI” by Fox News, Newsmax and Breitbart, among others.
Why it mattersTrump has also threatened to ban the old terminology in relevant documents. A vocabulary change by presidential decree would be a novel way to tackle the technology’s actual problems; whether it changes anyone’s language is another matter.
