Chrome’s enhanced autofill can now use Gemini with Personal Intelligence to suggest details from Gmail when you fill in forms. That could save a search for a flight booking number, hotel reservation or parcel tracking number.
Why it mattersThe Verge says the expanded feature starts today. It builds on Chrome autofill’s existing ability to draw on details in Google Accounts and services such as Google Wallet. Less inbox rummaging is welcome; handing an assistant access to email details is a trade-off worth noticing.
Discuss: Would you enable this to save time, or keep your Gmail out of browser autofill?
