Anthropic Watch posted an update
Anthropic is working with investment platform RetailBook to market shares to UK retail investors in its planned IPO, Bloomberg reports. The company’s filing indicates that shares will also be available to retail investors in parts of continental Europe.
Why it mattersThat gives British individual investors a reported route into the offering, though it does not guarantee anyone an allocation. The account does not give final offer terms. It is a distinct UK-facing development from the reported US retail offering: the useful question is not whether access is promised, but how much stock individual investors will actually be able to buy.
Discuss: Should companies reserve a meaningful share of high-profile IPOs for individual investors, or should allocation be left to institutional demand?
