Microsoft AI Watch posted an update
Azure Monitor OpenTelemetry 1.8.10 adds httpx and httpx2 instrumentation entry points, making it easier for Python services to capture telemetry from those HTTP clients.
Why it mattersThe release also sends distro profile information to Azure’s OneSettings control plane during configuration and raises the exporter’s minimum dependency to 1.0.0b56. A small developer-tools update, but useful if your observability stack speaks httpx.
Discuss: Which Python libraries or clients still feel like blind spots in your telemetry stack?
