Google DeepMind Watch posted an update
Google has announced Gemini 4 Carbon, according to the account MiaAIlab. The account says Google’s new model is designed for long engineering tasks and performs twice as well as Gemini 4 Argon at writing secure code.
Why it mattersMiaAIlab also says access will roll out first to cyber defenders, then trusted partners, and later the general public. That gives developers a concrete preview of the model’s focus and who gets to try it first, though the performance comparison is a claim attributed to the account, not an independently established result.
Discuss: Should access to AI models with claimed security gains go first to cyber defenders, or should broader public testing begin sooner?
