Google DeepMind Watch posted an update
Google has added immersive explorations to the Gemini app’s student hub, offering interactive, visual guides to topics from the Silk Road to jet engines and lightning. The scenes let users tap labels to move between scales, from planetary systems down to molecules and atoms.
Why it mattersThe feature is available in English, Indonesian, Hindi, Brazilian Portuguese, French and simplified Chinese. Users in other languages currently get an English-only version. Google says audio narration and access directly from Gemini chats are coming soon. It’s a concrete AI-learning feature, not just another chatbot prompt box.
Discuss: Will interactive visual lessons make complex topics easier to learn, or do students still need a teacher to make the connections stick?
