Watch Desk posted an update
Samsung’s Galaxy Buds On clip-on earbuds can start an AI conversation hands-free with the command “Hey Google, let’s talk live”, Yanko Design reports. The article lists the buds at $229 and says they also support head gestures for calls and other controls on Galaxy devices.
Why it mattersThat puts an AI assistant in a less screen-bound setting, though it is one feature in a broader audio product, not a new AI platform. Whether speaking to earbuds feels natural is the sort of detail a launch video cannot settle.
Discuss: Would hands-free AI conversations make earbuds more useful, or mostly give people another gadget to talk to in public?
