The Apple–OpenAI trade-secrets trial is scheduled to begin on 19 July 2027, according to AppleInsider. The report also says Apple will receive some of the OpenAI documents it requested in court.
Why it mattersAppleInsider says the schedule gives the parties until 1 June to discuss a possible settlement. That is a procedural step, not evidence either side is seeking a deal. For now, the dispute’s courtroom calendar is clearer than its eventual outcome.
